Pakistan needed a response after an emphatic defeat in their first T20i against South Africa and their players delivered it, bowling out the Proteas for just 110. They chased down their victory target in just 13.1 overs, losing just one wicket in the process. Saim Ayub was excellent, scoring 71 from just 38 balls opening the batting.
The big question now is whether Pakistan can take that new-found momentum with them into the deciding game. South Africa will no doubt improve with the bat and this is likely to prove the closest of the three matches.
