Pakistan return home on the back of a series draw against Sri Lanka and having already got some T20 cricket under their belt this year, should be well-placed to start well against Australia. Whilst the tourists boast a number of formidable T20 players such as Travis Head, Marcus Stoinis and Adam Zampa, Pakistan welcome back Shaheen Shah Afridi and Babar Azam into the fold, a big boost from their point of view.

A high-scoring game is expected at the Gaddafi Stadium, which is usually a batter friendly surface and a player such as Head could really cash in for Australia. Coming off the back of an outstanding Ashes series, it would be no surprise if Head transitions into white ball cricket with ease and lays down a marker with a good score in this first T20i.
