Nottingham Forest preview: Mixed start
Following the appointment of former Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner, Nottingham Forest have started the season with defeats to Leeds United, both in the Premier League and then the EFL Cup, but they were improved at Anfield last weekend.
Up against Liverpool on Merseyside, Forest twice took the lead against The Reds with goals from Dan Ndoye and Morgan Gibbs-White before having to settle for an entertaining point.
Tottenham preview: Poor start
Tottenham Hotspur have spent heavily over the summer with Roberto De Zerbi experiencing his first pre-season with the club after the Italian managed to steer Spurs clear of the bottom three and the relegation places on the final day of last season.
Tottenham have started their season as poorly as they played throughout last year, though, with a 3-0 hammering at the hands of Brentford in their opener before being beaten 2-0 by Newcastle United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Nottingham Forest vs Tottenham prediction
There remains a feeling that Roberto De Zerbi will eventually get his Spurs side clicking. They did improve after his appointment last season but it will be a worry that his first full pre-season has been followed by such a slow start, both in terms of their results and performances. Glasner’s counter-attacking style will also be well suited to playing against the possession-based approach of De Zerbi and so perhaps siding with the hosts, with home advantage and the improvement they showed last week, seems a decent value bet here.
