Niko Springer vs Joe Comito prediction
Joe Comito has his work cut out against Niko Springer, the latest German to try and breakthrough into the top echelons of darts. The 25-year-old from Mainz heads into the World Darts Championship on the back of having reached the last 16 at the Grand Slam of Darts where he beat the likes of Gary Anderson and Michael van Gerwen.
Spinger also won the Hungarian Darts Trophy back in September, his first European tour title in his first year as PDC tour card holder. It’s all set up for him to come into Ally Pally and banish the memories of last year’s defeat here at the hands of Scott Williams. His preparation has been carefully thought out and methodical, giving him the best possible chance of success.
Joe Comito is a winner of multiple Australian titles but this is his first taste of the World Darts Championship. His scoring power isn’t notoriously high and if Springer can continue to impress on his double hitting, then the German should comfortably triumph. Consider backing the ‘Meenzer Bub’ to sweep.
