Nick Kenny vs Justin Hood prediction
Nick Kenny is hoping to build on an extremely promising performance at the World Darts Championship last year, which saw him make it to the third round before losing to Luke Humphries. That experience on the Ally Pally oche and winning twice on the biggest stage in darts will have done wonders for his game and bodes well for him heading into this one.
Meanwhile, Justin Hood will be making his World Darts Championship debut and it remains to be seen as to how he will handle the pressure of playing in the tournament, especially with the short format. Hood earned his first tour card through Q-School earlier in the year. He has had success on television though, reaching the UK Open fourth round.
But Kenny is in decent form and should settle in quickly here. A fast start from him will see Hood struggle to pull things back and it’s worth backing Welshman Kenny to defeat Englishman Hood.
