West Indies battled hard to save a draw in the first test, but New Zealand didn’t give them room to breathe in the second test after winning the toss, bowling and skittling out the tourists for just 205 in their first innings. Once New Zealand had established a decent lead on a pitch offering assistance to the bowlers, it felt like there was only going to be one outcome and West Indies limping to 128 all out in their second innings proved the death-knell to their hosts, the Black Caps completing an easy fourth innings chase with nine wickets remaining.

West Indies’ bowling attack can hang against the Black Caps but their batters struggled on a pitch with more juice and it would be no surprise if we saw the same thing happen here. New Zealand meanwhile, have consistently batted well across the series and with that in mind, it’s worth backing them at home to win once more.
