New Zealand vs England prediction

We’ll never know whether England’s 153/6 would’ve been enough to beat New Zealand in the first T20i as rain called an early halt to proceedings. But the game saw England demonstrate their depth of batting at Sam Curran top scored with 49 not out batting at number six. This shows that New Zealand’s bowlers will need to be at their very best to restrict the tourists whether they be setting or chasing a target.

However, the Black Caps can call upon some big hitters down the order themselves with the likes of Bracewell, Neesham and Santner. Most notably, England’s bowling unit looks weak without Jofra Archer and Mark Wood. To be missing a pair of such key bowlers cannot be underestimated and it would be no surprise if New Zealand took advantage of that. Therefore, consider backing a home win in this one.
