New Zealand vs England prediction

Despite Harry Brook’s amazing 135 from just 101 balls. England did not have enough runs on the board in the first ODI as batters fell all around him aside from Jamie Overton. They were the only two players to record a double-figure score as England were bowled out for 223. Whilst they put in a good effort in defending that total with Brydon Carse picking up three wickets, the tourists simply didn’t have enough on the board as New Zealand chased it down with four wickets to spare.

You would expect England to bat significantly better in the second ODI when taking into account the numbers of players who failed to register even a respectable score. The chances of that happening again should be fairly low. However, the weather may potentially have a role to play in the outcome and with that in mind, it may prove a shrewd move focusing on an individual player, specifically Brook when considering how good he looked last time out.

New Zealand vs England tip: Harry Brook to score over 27.5 match runs
