The expectation is that a full game should be played this time around and for New Zealand, the pressure is on as they attempt to salvage a 1-1 draw after losing the first T20i. The difference between the two teams so far has been the Australian batters performing in bulk, whereas New Zealand were overly reliant on one player, Tim Robinson.

If Australia get off to as good a start with the bat as they did in the first game, then the Black Caps are set to struggle again.
