Following a six-wicket win on Wednesday, Australia aim to do it all again the second T20i against New Zealand at the same venue.

Date/time:

Venue: Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui, New Zealand

Weather: Cloudy with a slight chance of showers interrupting play

How to watch: UK – TNT Sports / USA – Willow TV

New Zealand vs Australia prediction

Tim Robinson’s magnificent unbeaten century for New Zealand went to waste in the first T20i as Australia won out by six wickets, chasing down a victory target of 182 with 3.3 overs to spare as their top order put them ahead of the game early on and the Black Caps could not respond with their pacers nullified.

New Zealand have the bowlers to bounce back but the Bay Oval has proven a good place to bat and nine maximums for Australia in their innings was testament to this. Even without Glenn Maxwell, the Aussies had plenty of depth within their batting order and are capable of hitting all the way down. This makes them worth backing to build on the momentum gained from Wednesday and to double their series lead.

New Zealand vs Australia tip: Australia to win
