You can just never write off Sydney Sixers in the BBL. After an awful first four games of the tournament, consecutive wins now leave them in the top four and threatening the high-flyers of Hobart and Perth. It just never felt like the three-time champions could be kept quiet for long when you consider the experience of their squad, not to mention the leadership group among them.

Melbourne Stars on the other hand, are threatening to go do what the franchise has made a habit of for so many years in this competition and disappoint.
