London Spirit vs Oval Invincibles prediction

London Spirit were winners of a memorable final last year but you could argue that they come into the women’s Hundred in 2025 as a significantly weaker team. This is due to the absence of their captain, with a hamstring injury ruling out Spirit and England skipper Heather Knight for the rest of the summer. She will be a huge loss not only as a batter, but also as a leader.

The onus falls on Charlie Dean to lead the side in her absence but she’s been handed a tough start. Oval Invincibles have consistently been among the strongest Hundred sides having twice won the women’s competition and will no doubt be confident of improving on last year’s third-place finish. With a strong core in place and Australian superstar Meg Lanning added to their squad, they are looking incredibly strong and are well worth backing to beat their London rivals.
