London Spirit vs Manchester Super Giants prediction

London Spirit have gone back to the drawing board after years of underwhelming men’s Hundred finishes and have returned with a team on and off the field capable of bringing success. Perennial winner Andy Flower is in as head coach with Mo Babat in charge of cricketing operations on the back of his huge success with RCB in the IPL. In terms of the players, Jonny Bairstow joins after a long stint at Welsh Fire, Liam Livingstone arrives from Birmingham Phoenix and will captain the side, whilst South African Lhuan-dre Pretorius is one of the most exciting young top order batters in the franchise game.

But Manchester Super Giants counter with the likes of Jos Buttler, Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klaasen. Most importantly, they possess a bowling in brilliant form who looks to be making a breakthrough on the big stage. Right arm pacer Sonny Baker is coming off the back of two five-wicket hauls across Hampshire Hawks’ three T20 Blast knockout stage games, including the final against Northamptonshire Steelbacks.

Likely a regular in the England side sooner rather than later, this is set up to be a huge tournament for Baker and his extra pace could see him profit against the hosts. Therefore, back him to take at least a pair of wickets.

London Spirit vs Manchester Super Giants tip: Sonny Baker to take 2+ wickets
