Colombo Kaps defeated Kandy Royals by six wickets in these two sides’ last encounter against each other. The Kaps chased down 180 with two balls to spare, an unbeaten half-century from Janith Liyanage proving crucial. Kandy have since triumphed emphatically over Dambulla Sixers by 43 runs at the home of the Sixers and are now after revenge on Colombo.
Playing in Dambulla has clearly been more of a success for the Royals and they’ll be expected to bowl much tighter against Colombo on this occasion in an attempt to strange their opponents and draw out wickets.
