After the first T20i of the series between these two sides was washed out on Thursday, Ireland and West Indies will try again in Bready.

Date/time:

Venue: Magheramason, Bready, Ireland

Weather: Consistent light rain showers could wind up disrupting play

How to watch: USA – Willow TV / UK – TNT Sports

Ireland vs West Indies prediction

Despite this match being played two days later than the scheduled first game, Ireland won’t be able to welcome any players back from injury. That means left-arm pacer Josh Little remains out, as does Curtis Campher, Gareth Delany and Craig Young. Graham Hume replaced Little in the squad and will be desperate for an opportunity to show what he can do here.

West Indies, with the likes of Evin Lewis, Shimron Hetmyer and Shai Hope, have a solid T20 batting base to work from despite the retirement of Nicholas Pooran and they’ll hope to show that against this Ireland bowling attack.

As we stated in our preview of the opening T20i, backing West Indies would be the sensible play. But be aware of the forecast and keep a close eye on weather conditions prior to the start of this game.
