Ireland vs Afghanistan prediction

Since the first ODI was abandoned, it has been all Afghanistan with Ireland outplayed across three consecutive matches. After at least making the third ODI a close finish, the home side were second best by a wide margin once again in game four, losing by 42 runs as the Afghanistan batters cashed in on weak Irish bowling, racking up 343/9 batting first.

We already knew about how good Afghanistan’s white bowling is but it’s the batting that deserves real credit across the series. Supposedly a weak spot, the tourists have proven a point and this bodes well for them moving forward as tougher opposition come into view. They’ll want to finish on a high and backing them to complete a 4-0 demolition job is a play worth making.

Ireland vs Afghanistan tip: Afghanistan to win
