Hobart Hurricanes showed their class after losing to Perth Scorchers by 40 runs, by bouncing back with immediately effect and defeating Sydney Thunder by six wickets, chasing down 206 with 2.1 overs to spare thanks largely to Tim Ward’s 90 off just 49 balls. They’ve now won four of their last five BBL fixtures.

Adelaide Strikers may have picked up their third win of the season most recently but they still have not managed to record consecutive victories in the league stage and it’s hard to see that changing when taking into the quality of their opposition here.
