The fixture schedule has not been kind to Middlesex. Less than 24 hours after taking on Somerset at Taunton, they now make the journey further south to face an in-form Hampshire Hawks. Middlesex racked up 229/5 against Somerset and such a batting performance on the back of beating Essex was hugely encouraging although Somerset still managed to chase it down.

Hampshire Hawks though, have been one of the benchmark teams in the South Group this season and boast one of the best captains in James Vince, not to mention one of the best batters.
