Owen Coyle’s Jamshedpur will be looking to kick on this season after missing out on the play-off places by four points last time out and they begin against a much-changed East Bengal side. For starters, head coach Robbie Fowler is gone, replaced by Spaniard Manolo Diaz and goalkeeper Arindam Bhattacharya has joined from ATK Mohun Bagan, the experienced stopper will captain the side and should immediately ensure an improvement on the number of goals conceded by East Bengal. The presence of Bhattacharya should ensure at least a close contest here with both teams perhaps not willing to take too many risks offensively, knowing how damaging a loss in their opening game of the campaign could prove in terms of morale and momentum.
