THE PREDICTION

Only one point currently separates third-placed Bayer Leverkusen and fourth-placed Hoffenheim after 15 Bundesliga fixtures and an intriguing encounter is on the cards at the BayArena. Leverkusen are coming off the back of a 5-2 thrashing at the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt, but should prove a far different proposition at home where they have won each of their last four games in all competitions, scoring 15 goals in the process. Hoffenheim meanwhile, are in excellent form having won their last four in all competitions, netting at least two goals in each of those victories. When taking into account the attacking prowess of both sides and the good fortunes of each going forward over the past couple of weeks, goals are expected in this one regardless of who comes out on top, so consider backing over 2.5 goals over the 90 minutes.
