• Right-back Peter Pekarik returned to full training this week but having missed most of pre-season, he is unlikely to feature, while summer signing Dedryck Boyata is set to miss out again.
• Salomon Kalou could replace Mathew Leckie on the wing, which would probably see a reversion to a 4-2-3-1 formation, but no other changes from the side that started against Bayern are anticipated.
