THE LOWDOWN

LEEDS UTD

  • Leeds’ slump continued with a 2-0 defeat to Leicester on Thursday evening and manager Jesse Marsch will be feeling the pressure now with his side having picked up just two points from their last seven Premier League games.
  • Marsch will hope to have defender Pascal Struijk available again after the 23-year-old missed the midweek trip to Leicester, while changes in the front four places will be considered with Jack Harrison and Rodrigo potentially coming into the starting XI.

FULHAM

  • Fulham continue to compete well in the division and recorded an excellent 3-0 win over now managerless Aston Villa on Thursday evening, with Aleksandar Mitrovic getting on the scoresheet once again.
  • Nathaniel Chalobah is available after this three-game suspension and could be used to freshen things up in midfield, but Dan James will sit this one out as he is ineligible to face his parent club.

THE TEAM NEWS

LEEDS UTD

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Meslier; Kristensen, Koch, Cooper, Struijk; Adams, Roca; Harrison, Aaronson, Sinisterra; Rodrigo

UNAVAILABLE: Hjelde (Injured), Dallas (Injured), Forshaw (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Struijk (Injured), Gray (Injured)

FULHAM

PREDICTED XI (4-2-3-1): Leno; Decordova-Reid, Diop, Ream, Robinson; Reed, Chalobah; Wilson, Andreas Pereira, Kebano; Mitrovic

UNAVAILABLE: Kurzawa (Fitness), James (Ineligible), Solomon (Injured)

QUESTIONABLE: Tete (Injured)

THE PREDICTION

There is no doubt that Leeds are low on confidence right now, with a lack of bite in the attacking areas particularly noticeable of late. They need a slice of luck to turn things around but Fulham will not be in a charitable mood, with Marco Silva’s side having enjoyed an excellent first couple of months in the Premier League. Having provided the final nail in the coffin of Steven Gerard’s managerial tenure at Aston Villa, the Cottagers could plunge Leeds boss Jess Marsch into murky waters here, with the away side worth backing in the draw no bet market.

TIP: FULHAM DRAW NO BET
