CRYSTAL PALACE
Crystal Palace must have thought they were heading for a third straight win in all competitions last weekend but a late comeback from Aston Villa saw them come away from the midlands empty-handed.
Form striker Odsonne Edouard gave the Eagles the lead just after half-time, and they held on well until substitute Jhon Duran thundered in a sensational strike late on. It was to get worse for Palace though, as a Douglas Luiz penalty mere minutes later put Villa in front, before Leon Bailey rubbed salt into the wound deep into injury-time.
FULHAM
It may not have been their finest performance but Fulham did the important thing by beating Luton last weekend and bringing to an end their three-game winless run in the Premier League.
The Cottagers certainly rode their luck in that match as Luton missed several opportunities to find the net. Ultimately though, it was substitute Carlos Vinicius's goal midway through the second half that made the difference, leaving Fulham in the top half of the table heading into the weekend.

Marc Guehi has returned to training after missing out last weekend and seems likely to return to the heart of defence in place of Chris Richards, while Jordan Ayew should be okay after a dead leg cut short his participation against Aston Villa.
Dean Henderson is waiting in the wings for his Crystal Palace debut, and this could be the game that he replaces Sam Johnstone in goal.
