THE PREDICTION
Reigning Belgian Pro League champions Club Brugge look to have gotten over their mini-blip in form by winning a league and cup double-header away at Genk, winning 2-3 in the league last Sunday and then on penalties after a 3-3 draw in the cup on Wednesday. They have been bolstered by Union Saint-Gilloise’s defeat last weekend but remain at least four points behind them before this weekend’s fixtures. However, battle-hardened as they must be from two matches against Genk this should be a comfortable home game against travelling RFC Seraing despite the newly-promoted side’s excellent recent form. RFC Seraing lost on penalties at home to Anderlecht in the cup on Wednesday after a superb 3-3 tussle and they have really found their feet in the league with seven points from their last three games. Still, taking Club Brugge to win and both teams to score looks the best option here with the hosts not keeping a clean sheet in any of their last seven games.
