KORTRIJK VS WAASLAND-BEVEREN PREDICTION
Waasland-Beveren had lost seven matches in a row and were two points adrift at the foot of the table prior to the disruption of the 2019-20 campaign. They had looked set to be relegated only to successfully win their appeal. The chance to compete in the top flight again this season is a big bonus for them but it’s also difficult to see them not being embroiled in another relegation battle this time around. Kortrijk were mid-table when last season was curtailed and they will be looking for an improvement on that showing but their results in pre-season have not been particularly good and they are probably grateful at not having to start the new campaign with a tougher fixture. The hosts are tipped to secure the victory in what is expected to be a scrappy encounter.
