Man Utd's new number ten Bruno Fernandes (£8.3m) has made an immediate impact for both the Red Devils and the FPL managers who have brought him into their teams. The Portuguese midfielder has two goals and two assists in his first four Premier League games. However, Arsenal midfielder Nicolas Pepe (£9.2) is also in form having registered a goal and two assists in his last two league matches.
Gameweek 29 sees Fernandes play one fixture, Man Utd's local derby against Man City. Pepe however, plays two fixtures with Arsenal hosting West Ham at the weekend, before travelling to Man City in midweek. We can see both accruing a high FPL score against West Ham and Man City, but the extra fixture for Pepe gives him the edge for us in this one.
Verdict: Nicolas Pepe
