Liverpool's two attacking starlets are ready to play a key role once again as the Reds attempt to retain their maiden Premier League title this season. Both Mo Salah (£12.0m) and Sadio Mane (£12.0m) are as safe an FPL option as you can wish to have, however neither of them come cheap. So which one would we plump for in Gameweek One as Liverpool face newly promoted Leeds at Anfield?
Last season, Salah grabbed 12 more FPL points than Mane. Taking penalties along with a number of set pieces, Salah racked up 19 goals and ten assists. Mane was close behind, managing 18 goals and ten assists. With both the same price, Salah should be given the edge, not just for his record, but also for his authority when it comes to penalties. Not to mention 15 of his 19 league goals came at Anfield.
