Both Harry Maguire (£5.4m) and Ruben Dias (£5.8m) are nailed-on starters for their clubs when available and they each claimed a clean sheet with 1-0 wins in midweek games. Maguire’s Man Utd went top of the table after overcoming Burnley whilst Dias’ Man City were comfortable if uninspired against Brighton.
DGW19 brings both defenders opportunities for points here. United’s superior away record makes trips to Liverpool, in a fixture that has seen few goals in recent times, and Fulham a little less daunting but two home games for Dias cannot be looked past here. The Portuguese centre-back has six clean sheets in his last eight league games with City and looks set for at least one with Crystal Palace and Aston Villa visiting. Maguire could have a decent week but Dias should have a better one.
