This is an intriguing contest on Merseyside because there is a feeling that if things begin to go wrong for Everton then the supporters will begin to turn on the club’s hierarchy and perhaps even manager David Moyes. Manchester United head to Liverpool surely now back with some confidence that they gained in the second half of last season and siding with the visitors would appear the best bet for this one.
