On the back of hammering Sri Lanka on Tuesday night, England now look to do the same in Wales.

Venue: Sophia Gardens, Cardiff, Wales

Weather: Cloudy but dry with a gentle breeze and temperatures of 14c.

How to watch: UK – Sky Sports / USA – Willow TV

England vs Sri Lanka prediction

England and Harry Brook especially demolished Sri Lanka in the first match of this series, as Brook’s unbeaten 114 off only 49 balls helped the hosts to 254/4 batting first. Sri Lanka never got anywhere near and were bowled out for 135, losing by 119 runs with all six England bowlers utilised picking up at least one wicket.

Sri Lanka’s bowlers have been pummelled all tour, first by the Lions and now the senior England team. They are clearly out of their depth on these good batting surfaces against these aggressive English hitters. That isn’t expected to change at Sophia Gardens. One player who did fail was Aneurin Donald, who was out for 12 on debut. Expect him to bounce back with a score of 20 runs or more opening the batting for England

England vs Sri Lanka tip: England to win and Aneurin Donald to score 20+ runs
