Durham have started their T20 Blast campaign with two victories and three defeats. The hosts come into this one on the back of a slender, low-scoring seven-run loss to the Northamptonshire Steelbacks on Saturday evening at Wantage Road.
They now face a Lancashire Lightning side that remain a bit of a mess both on and off the pitch. The Red Rose have won just one of their five games thus far and succumbed to a loss to Glamorgan at Blackpool in a game that should have been impossible to lose with two overs to go.
Lancashire, who conceded over 40 runs off the final 11 balls of that innings against Glamorgan, are struggling for any sort of form, despite some big names, and backing Durham would be the way to go for this one at the Riverside.
