Coventry preview: Content with their defeat
Coventry City will be quite content to have got away from the home of the champions, Arsenal, with a 3-0 defeat when it did appear as though The Gunners may well run away and rack up a score after Martin Odegaard added their third just after half-time.

First half goals scored by defenders Semi Ajayi and Nobel Mendy provided Hull with a 2-0 victory against the lacklustre Red Devils as they seek to continue to defy odds and expectations, as they did by getting promoted last season.

Coventry vs Hull prediction
Coventry finished over 20 points above Hull in the Championship table last season. Both sides have gone on to improve their squad but there still has to be a feeling that that will show here. Hull were able to alter their style and continue on with the more conservative approach that they used in their successful play-off campaign – but that is a style Coventry will be used to coming up against at home after dominating the second-tier last year. As a result, a Coventry win to ensure all three newly-promoted sides have already earned themselves a victory seems a decent shout for this one as Premier League football makes his debut at the CBS Arena.
