TUNISIA VS AUSTRALIA

For Australia, three points is a must for them when considering that not only did they lose their first game, but also suffered a significant blow to their goal difference. Tunisia though, showed real quality against Denmark and whilst they were hanging on towards the end of the match, had done enough in the first half to score, but failed to take their chances. They will see Australia as an opponent they can really take the game to offensively and this should lead to an entertaining affair, as both teams push bodies forward at every opportunity in search of the three points. Therefore, backing both teams to score looks very much the smart play.

TIP: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE

POLAND VS SAUDI ARABIA

The opening matches of this group have made the second round of fixtures absolutely fascinating. Saudi Arabia will seek to implement the same plan that was successful against the Argentinians with a high-line keeping Robert Lewandowski, already starved of sufficient service, further away from the goal. That should be enough to frustrate them and keep this match a low-scoring one, regardless of if the Polish do eventually edge their opponents out.

TIP: UNDER 2.5 GOALS

FRANCE VS DENMARK

France had little trouble in getting the better of Australia despite falling behind early on in that contest. They know they will need to be better in this clash as they take on Denmark but the Danes will need to produce a much better performance having struggled in their game with Tunisia. Denmark were underwhelming on both sides of the ball but they are capable of more here and facing a higher standard of opposition may draw it out of them. This should be an open game with chances aplenty so it is worth backing both teams to find the back of the net.

TIP: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE

ARGENTINA VS MEXICO

Argentina suffered a stunning upset against Saudi Arabia and they have it all to do to progress in what is a tough Group C. They will be desperate to come out on top of this clash with Mexico but the pressure will be firmly on Lionel Scaloni’s side. That could end up spurring them on but Mexico will believe they can deal with their opponents. They played out a goalless draw with Poland in their first encounter and know another positive result will leave them well-placed to advance to the knockout stages. However, this is likely to be a tense affair and Mexico will rely on their sturdy defence to guide them to another result with a low-scoring encounter expected.

TIP: UNDER 2.5 GOALS
