David Pipe’s six-year-old looked a smart sort on the flat but will now focus on the hurdles. He didn’t show a great deal in his last efforts over hurdles but if he can produce anywhere near his form on the flat, he should be in with a chance here.

Magical Dias ended last season well with a couple of promising displays in maidens. Didn’t appear to suit the drop to 6f on her seasonal reappearance so this leap back up to 1m should work in her favour having started to make headway in her last showing before being outpaced.
