You could argue that Notts Outlaws are one of the most out of form teams across the entire T20 Blast at present, certainly in the North Group. Joe Clarke’s side have lost each of their last three games, the most recent of those being the toughest pill to swallow, a 46-run beating at the hands of local rivals and bottom of the table Derbyshire Falcons on the Outlaws’ own patch.

The Bears will likely be delighted at the prospect of capitalising on Notts’ struggles. Whilst they can still turn things around, it would be understandable if eyes and minds were focused more on the County Championship, with Notts currently top of Division One. You can’t afford to switch off in T20 cricket though, or you’ll be punished. Bears haven’t been at their best in the Blast this year, but they remain a strong outfit and have to be favoured here.
