After a long period of white ball cricket, Bangladesh turns their attentions to the red ball stuff here, with Ireland the visitors. The Tigers are rightly favourites on their own patch, although they face an Irish side who have grown accustomed to winning Test matches following their hugely successful tour of Zimbabwe earlier this year.

Bangladesh though, will provide a far sterner challenge with the players capable of maximising use of conditions, especially when it comes to spin bowling and batters being accustomed to spending long periods of time out at the crease.
