Australia vs India prediction

We touched upon Australia’s bowling in our preview of the first ODI between these two nations, particularly that of Mitchell Starc. But it was Josh Hazlewood who forced the issue with two wickets at a miserly economy rate as India were bundled out batting first in a rain-reduced fixture. The strength-in-depth of Australia’s bowling is substantially stronger than what India have and that is crucial.

Whilst you’d expect a better showing from the Indian batters on this occasion, not least Virat Kohli after being dismissed for 0 in game one, Australia’s excellent bowling attack is likely to give them an edge again and with home advantage in their favour, that makes Australia the team worth backing to come out on top for a second time in succession.
