Afghanistan wound up too strong for Japan in the opening game of the Asian Games men’s cricket competition, defeating the tournament hosts by 48 runs. However, Nepal will provide a significantly tougher challenge, particularly from a batting perspective. Nepal boasts the slow bowlers capable of restricting Afghanistan to a low score but until Japan, Nepal stands more of a chance to capitalise with the bat.
