The 18-year-old lost a tight clash with Flavio Cobolli in Halle last week and will hope to continue his steep rise up the rankings by making his mark on the turf on his debut in this event. 

This will be a maiden meeting with Zizou Bergs, who also lost at the first hurdle in Halle after reaching the final in s’Hertogenbosch. 

The 26-year-old Belgian will feel his greater experience on the surface and recent runner-up berth will give him the edge, but the Brazilian teen is a special talent and if he hits a high gear it could go either way.
