Zizou Bergs vs Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard prediction

Zizou Bergs was an early casualty in Rotterdam as he lost to lucky loser Hamad Medjedovic in straight sets. That would have been a disappointment for Bergs, who was also defeated by Hubert Hurkacz in the first-round of the Australian Open. He began the season strongly with three wins out of four from his singles matches at the United Cup, and he will seek to get back to winning ways with a win in Doha.

He goes up against against Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard. Despite a strong showing at the start of the season, which saw the Frenchman advance to the quarter-final of events in Brisbane and Auckland, he is now on a three-match losing streak. He was defeated by Sebastian Baez in Melbourne and had to retire from his match against Arthur Gea in Montpellier due to a freak eye injury. He made his return in Rotterdam but lost to Tallon Griekspoor in straight sets.

Mpetshi Perricard leads the head-to-head 1-0 after a win at the French Open last year, but this is their first encounter on a hard court. Both players will be desperate for a much-needed win here, and this could go to three sets.

Zizou Bergs vs Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard tip: Both players to win a set
