Zizou Bergs vs Carlos Alcaraz prediction

Zizou Bergs advanced to the third-round of the Shanghai Masters after a dominant win over Ignacio Buse. Bergs, who also comfortably got past Vit Kopriva in round one, dropped just the three games against Buse, winning 6-0 6-3. The Belgian won his first tour-level title at the Eastbourne Open during the grass court season. He will now face seven-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz.

The second seed began his campaign with a comfortable win over Juan Manuel Cerundolo. Alcaraz produced his most encouraging serving display since returning from injury, facing no break points and winning 86% of points behind his first serve on his way to a 6-3 6-3 victory. The 23-year-old defended his Japan Open title just a few days earlier, beating Jiri Lehecka in the final. 

Bergs has breezed through his opening two matches, but he will have to put in one of his best ever performances if he is to get the better of Alcaraz.
