Zizou Bergs won’t fear anyone and certainly isn’t likely to be intimidated by Shelton, the USA number two who no doubt has his eye firmly on winning the Canadian Open. Bergs came from a set down to get the better of Sebastian Baez in the previous round and if he were more clinical when it came to break points, Bergs may have won by a larger margin. 

Shelton’s quality is evident and his ability clear. If the American is at his best, then he should prove far too strong for Bergs. He’s already beaten the Belgian once in his career and it would be a big surprise if he didn’t do so for a second time but this time around on a hard court surface.
