Zachary Svajda vs Alejandro Davidovich Fokina prediction
Zachary Svajda has momentum on his side as he prepares for the main draw of the Dallas Open. He began the season by qualifying for his first Australian Open, losing in the first-round to Yannick Hanfmann. He then dropped down to play in San Diego on the Challenger Tour, and the American went on to win the title after beating Sebastian Korda in the final. Two more wins followed in the qualifying stages here, with Svajda having won 10 of his 11 matches in 2026, and he’s also on a seven-match winning streak.
Alejandro Davidovich Fokina is his opponent. After a poor showing in Brisbane last month, the Spaniard fared better in Adelaide as he got through to the semi-finals, though he was beaten by Ugo Humbert in three sets. Davidovich Fokina picked up two wins at the Australian Open but was forced to retire after going two sets down to Tommy Paul in the third-round.
Svajda has momentum on his side and could trouble Davidovich Fokina. Nevertheless, the third seed will be expected to come through and win.
