Yunchaokete Bu vs Chun-Hsin Tseng prediction
Yunchaokete Bu was edged out by Brazilian teenager Joao Fonseca in the first-round of the Cincinnati Open last time out. Up to that point, Bu had successfully made it out of round one in his three previous events on hard court during the North American summer swing. He is managing to pick up victories on a more consistent basis but is unable to make a real impact on the ATP Tour, especially compared to earlier in the season when he reached the last eight in Montpellier.
He will face Chun-Hsin Tseng in round one. Tseng has not featured for a few weeks, with his last event being the Canadian Open. He got through his one qualifying round but lost to Christopher O’Connell in the first-round. He does have some success on the Challenger Tour this season, but his ATP record is a poor one and he has just one main draw hard court victory on the tour in 2025.
Bu has a superior record on this surface, especially this season, and is good value to come through this.
