Yue Yuan vs Daria Snigur prediction

Yue Yuan edged a tight match with Sara Sorribes to make it through to the last eight in Cluj-Napoca. She established a 4-1 lead in the first set, but Sorribes would take control as she won the next five games in a row to go in front. Yuan broke three times in the second to take the match into the decider, and was on the verge of victory when she broke again to go 5-4 up. However, she squandered three match points as Sorribes fought back and eventually forced a tiebreak. Yuan would still win 4-6 6-2 7-6 (5).

She now faces Daria Snigur after she demolished Jaqueline Cristiain in straight sets. Cristian was the commanding favourite but Snigur dominated from the off, winning the last 11 service games to claim a 6-1 6-0 win. She has now won nine of her 11 matches this season.

Snigur has made a strong start to the campaign and if she replicates her performance in the previous round, she will be difficult to stop.
