Yannick Hanfmann vs Frances Tiafoe prediction

Yannick Hanfmann came through a dramatic match against Kamil Majchrzak, winning in three sets. The contest was decided by three tiebreaks, with neither player dropping serve throughout as Hanfmann completed a 6-7 (4) 7-6 (3) 7-6 (7) victory. His best result of the season was a runner up appearance in Santiago back in February. 

He plays Frances Tiafoe next. The three-time US Open semi-finalist is the seventh seed at the tournament. He competed at the Japan Open last week, bringing an end to Kei Nishikori’s career in the first-round. He was then handed a tough second-round match against Arthur Fils in a rematch of the Cincinnati Open final, which the Frenchman had won. Tiafoe was once again unable to get the better of Fils, suffering another defeat. 

Tiafoe has enjoyed a strong season and will be determined to make a deep run here as he looks to strengthen his chances of qualifying for the ATP Finals for the first time in his career.
