York Knights team news: Hamstring hits captain

York Knights have been dealt a big blow with the news that skipper Liam Harris will miss at least the next few rounds of games due to a hamstring injury and his leadership is likely to be sorely missed at the Brick Community Stadium.

Wigan Warriors vs York Knights prediction

Whilst Wigan Warriors may be without a couple of their heavy hitters, they remain a formidable prospect. Not least because Matt Peet boasts a battery of hugely talented young players capable of stepping into the wings for the veteran names. The Warriors are flawless so far this campaign, winning all six games in all competitions and restricting their opponents to a single figure point-score in four of those.

York Knights know all about defying the odds, they did that on the opening night of the Super League campaign against reigning champions Hull KR. But that was at home and to win on the road, not least at a place like Wigan represents a tougher and probably insurmountable challenge. Back the hosts to come out on top fairly comprehensively.
