Leigh Leopards Team News: O’Brien has a chance

Leigh Leopards have also made one change to their squad, bringing in Gareth O’Brien following a period out of action with a head injury. He comes in for Jack Darbyshire and could play a part in this game.

Squad: David Armstrong, Darnell McIntosh, Tesi Niu, Umyla Hanley, Josh Charnley, Gareth O’Brien, Lachlan Lam, Owen Trout, Edwin Ipape, Robbie Mulhern, Frankie Halton, Jack Hughes, Isaac Liu, Alec Tuitavake, Matt Davis, Brad Dwyer, Keanan Brand, Andrew Badrock, Ben McNamara, Bailey Hodgson, Joe Ofahengaue

Wakefield Trinity vs Leigh Leopards Prediction

Wakefield Trinity come into this match on the back of a defeat at the hands of Leeds Rhinos, but will be happy to be back at home, where they have been excellent of late, particularly from an offensive standpoint. Across their last two home fixtures, Wakefield have racked up a whopping 112 points and will want to maintain such attacking efficiency.

Leigh Leopards were on the winning side last time out against Huddersfield Giants, but Adrian Lam’s side had lost three games in a row in all competitions prior to that one. They can prove fragile defensively on occasions and backing Wakefield at home may well turn out to be the shrewd move in this game.
