Vit Kopriva vs Dino Prizmic prediction

Vit Kopriva was unable to get past the first-round at Wimbledon as he lost to Great Britain’s Jan Choinski in straight sets. He fared a lot better in Mallorca a week earlier, advancing to the quarter-finals. Kopriva now returns to his favoured surface of clay, having reached the semi-finals of the Rio Open earlier in the year. He also has two more last eight appearances in Buenos Aires and Munich.

He will face home favourite Dino Prizmic in round one. He came from a set down to win against Adam Walton at Wimbledon, claiming his first win at the event. He was competitive against third seed Felix Auger-Aliassime in his next match, ultimately losing in straight sets. Prizmic’s best result of the season was his run to the round-of-16 at the Italian Open, which included a victory over 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic. He is a two-time quarter-finalist at this tournament.

Both of these players excel on clay, but Prizmic has home support on his side and will be motivated for this one.
