Victoria Mboko vs Anna Kalinskaya prediction

Victoria Mboko overcame a first-set hiccup to progress to the round of 16 in Adelaide. 

The eighth seed hit back to prevail 5-7 6-3 6-2 against Beatriz Haddad Maia.

The Canadian will now lock horns with Anna Kalinskaya after the Russian powered to a 6-0 6-3 success over Elena-Gabriela Ruse. 

This will be a second meeting between the pair after Kalinskaya retired at 1-6 1-3 down in Hong Kong back in October. 

Mboko has all the attacking weapons in this match-up and although Kalinskaya wasn’t quite right in that one-sided first encounter, she will have to come up with something very different to avoid a similar experience here as the teenager's power threatens to blow her away.
